The Personnel and Benefits committee has been working for a year or so on a redesign of our departmental site. The current site, based on the old Plone interface, performs poorly in both form and function. This site, built on the ubiquitous WordPress platform and hosted on the CUNY Academic Commons, is better-looking (if we do say so ourselves), easier to maintain and build out, and much more flexible in terms of design. The site is still very much under construction but has virtually everything copied over from the old site.
